Jeanne L. Barss, BDS, MS’s Education & Professional Experience

Dr. Jeanne Barss earned her Dental Degree from the University of Minnesota in 1984, and after five years as a Dentist at Regions Hospital, went on to pursue degrees in Periodontics and Oral Pathology from Purdue.

Dr. Barss started her Periodontics career in Port Huron, Michigan, working in private practice. She honed in on her passion as an associate for 6 years, performing countless dental implants and biopsies of soft lesion tissue.

She started her own periodontics practice in Plymouth, Minnesota in 2001. At this time she was also an Associate Clinical Instructor for the General Practice Residency at the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry. Dr. Barss provides a dental hygiene study club several times per year for referring dental offices and the surrounding community.
